Prat Itharat M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and comprehensive eye care.  He is trained in the latest small incision cataract surgery techniques, including laser assisted technology.  He founded Palmetto Eye Institute, formerly Palmetto Cataract and Eye Specialists, in 2012 after practicing in the Lowcountry since 2008.
